Hello all since Thunderbird is replacing Evolution, special care should be taken that users have continued access to their calendars. Too often, new Thunderbird versions in the repositories break compatibility with lightning (or gdata or timezone), making calendar data unavailable to users. Unfortunately, we've been observing this in previous Ubuntu Versions, also. As long this is the case, Thunderbird cannot considered as full replacement for Evolution for production environments One might address this by always ensuring that the combination of thunderbird+lightning+dependencies is fully functional before adding new versions of Thunderbird to the Ubuntu Repos. Kind regards, dsto ***
