Back to the issue. Having a fully functional and tested calendar available is crucial when positioning ubuntu versus win/outlook. Lightning/calendar is not just another add-on but an important component of todays linux desktops as soon as one decides to omit Evolution. Delivering a 12.04 beta without calendar is no option anymore. As you choose to introduce a Thunderbird beta I'd suggest to include the appropriate nightly build of lightning.
