Hi. About updating GeoGebra, package installed from http://software.opensuse.org
In my previous post, I told that GeoGebra installed after adding the repo provided by http://software.opensuse.org failed to update using the Ubuntu Update Manager. The reason (what I didn know) was that the public key for the repo was not added to the system. I soved the issue just downloading the key file from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/heimdall78/xUbuntu_11.10/ Then, I opened the Ubuntu Update Manager, went to 'Configuration' --> 'Authentication' and clicked the 'Import key' button. After that, I only needed searh for the key file, and save the changes (I suppose that others will prefer to use apt-key, in a terminal). Then, I updated GeoGebra to the latest version without any problem. (However, I still hope to have the latest version of GeoGebra available from an official Ubuntu repo.... good luck to the people working on it). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/926286 Title: GeoGebra version available in the repos isn't up to date To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/geogebra/+bug/926286/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
