This bug seem to occur very rarely and so couple day test doesn't prove it fixed or unlikely even to be not fixed. So, I'm unsure to install unstable kernel to computer I need on daily basis... Do I have risk of data loss with that kernel?
If I would know how to reproduce the bug, I could do quick test without actually using the unstable kernel further. Something to do with nvidia drivers... I filed also this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers/+bug/919365 And I have other probably also video driver related problems too, example Xorg hogging over 6 GB of memory for no good reason. But I cannot reproduce that either, all happens randomly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/941195 Title: kworker freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/941195/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
