To be fair, you can get systems without this.  You either pay for them 
(Dell Vostro and Microsoft "Signature" PCs) or you clean it yourself. 
(The PC Decrapifier)  And not just PCs.  Have you taken a flight lately? 
  Talk about adds...  But while this is no fun, it is the way it is. 
Wishing it were otherwise will not change it.  If we want the basement 
brands to carry Linux, we have to give them a financial reason to do so.
