@mpt, in one thing I don't agree. There is a big difference between a phone and a PC. The phone is, almost, always with you. That's why people don't mind much showing the unlock code to their friends.
I am not an Android user but I noticed many people using this gestural based unlock. This could be another way to clearly differentiate login from admin authentication.
