Yup, this bug very much looks like it's hardware specific. I definitely
can't reproduce this on my own systems, but I also don't have one that
runs with the ipw2200 or ipw2100 drivers.
I'll try to get to the hardware lab tomorrow and test this more
thoroughly on hardware that uses this driver.
If anyone seeing this bug has a way to try and reproduce it on the same
system after either replacing the wireless chip, or trying it with a USB
wifi dongle (or any other such way that would use different hardware
that doesn't rely on ipw2200), that's a valid test as well.
