Yes, indeed. I run apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade several times a day - just to be sure I am up-to-date.
There's no change in the behavior of the F5/F6 function keys as of now. Hotkeys for audio playback, volume and brightness control work just fine. I noticed that when pressing F5 or F5, and immideately thereafter pressing other hotkesy (e.g. F1/F2 - brightness or F11/F12 - volume), they don't react right away. This seems to indicate that pressing of F5/F6 does something to that system that occupies CPU cycles, but it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. After waiting a few seconds, the other hotkeys (F1/F2, F11/F12) function as expected. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/960417 Title: Keyboard backlight cannot be adjusted To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/960417/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
