Actually my guest was a non-server install (installed from the netboot
mini-iso). Perhaps there is a difference in the behavior of the two.
I don't believe this is a bug in kvm or libvirt, but might be a bug in
the settings in the ubuntu server image.
Can you post the xml for your guest?
