I'm not a professional GUI designer, you know, but... (I'm using the Ambiance theme.) Now if the window is focused, the completed part of the progress bar is orange, the uncompleted part is light gray. If it is unfocused, the completed part becomes a bit darker gray, and the uncompleted part kinda remains the same: light gray. I think it would be more intuitive to forget that "a bit darker gray" color, and use "a bit lighter orange" instead in the unfocused case.
(Sorry, the color names sound kinda unprofessional. I know, I know. Like I said, I'm not really a pro in GUI design. :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/964069 Title: graying out progress bars in unfocused windows is not a good idea IMHO To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/light-themes/+bug/964069/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
