Based on the term.log, this is probably bug #977178, which is fixed in
the latest upload of update-notifier.

It's meant to be triggered immediately - the above-mentioned bug
prevented this from happening in certain cases.

After upgrading to 12.04, flash doesn't seem to be installed to Firefox even
though the package is.
