Hi,

It seems that there is a strange character in the French translation of
the "le repertoire de configuration n'existe pas" (it's not happening in
Spanish, for example).

I've been able to start it by running the following command (only the first 
time):
LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 videoporama

and after that, videoporama starts fine using the icon.

I'll check anyway  what's happening and will upload a fix if I find it.
