I'm sorry I didn't provide this earlier and I'm afraid I can provide neither. The /var/log/dist-upgrade/ directory is empty (I've also checked for hidden files). Also, several boot cycles after the upgrade, the problem simply disappeared. Upgrades have been going on smoothly, and the system has never run fsck on startup again to this day.
Just for information, I recall that for a previous version of Ubuntu, someone filed a similar bug. Their filesystem became corrupted after a package upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/975893 Title: Dpkg returns error: "Read-only filesystem" when upgrading udisks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/udisks/+bug/975893/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
