Q:Can you tell me exactly how you performed the save/restore? A:I have used virt-manager and with this the graphical option for save. Restoring is in virt-manager just starting the vm again.
Q:If you used libvirt, can you also give me the guest xml? A:Yes, I attach it. Q:Are you able to save/restore now, from/to the same kernel+qemu-kvm version? A: After restarting the host the updated version works fine as far as I could saw at this thime. So it is only on the switch between the versions which makes problems for saved states from the old version. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/981515 Title: debian sid guest not able to restore from saved state(running) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu-kvm/+bug/981515/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
