  When installing ubuntu or running the live edition from CD the wireless
  card reports as "Firmware Missing".  During the installation process it
  will detect the card as a Wireless Network to select (odd).  This could
  cause confusion for in-experienced computer users who won't understand
  what they are seeing.  If you are installing on a laptop your first
  inclination is to use wireless so this missing feature problematic.
