It drives me nuts (not knowing what did the fix): after applying all
updates to precise until today,  including those from  proposed I can
connect as administrator - no installed fix was  directly related to
remminna or freerpd .

My strong guess now is that it somehow had to do with the usage of a '+'
in the passwort and this was (for what reason ever) not correctly
transfered.

On the other side big relief, so I can  now install Percise Pangolin
(Ubuntu 12.04) on more than 30 machines (running 10.04)  in our company.
The wrong color scheme remains, but thats only cosmetic and no big
grief.
