I am using the official release Precise with kernel 3.2.0-23 x64 which i upgraded few days ago from 11.10 upon booting, the wireless connection connects normally but there is no internet/network (i can't even ping the router) connection. I tried to switch off/on the wireless device, i tried disconnecting/connecting from Network manager with no luck. rmmod iwlwifi and modprobe iwlwifi back again solves the issue. I'm seeing an error in dmesg: [ 103.018296] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: Microcode SW error detected. Restarting 0x2000000. attached the dmesg output of the error dump sherif@sherif-laptop:~$ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available.
