My story is completely the same after upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04.
** Changed in: xpdf (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Confirmed
** Description changed:
New bug since upgrade to 12.04:
I can start xpdf without a filename on the command line, but if I do
give a filename on the command line, it crashes and spits out the text
below. I suppose it is ghostscript/postscript language. Similarly: first
opening xpdf and then opening a file from within the program gives a
crash.
The output 'during' the crash is like this:
[@laptop:~]$ xpdf -cmd intensity_log.pdf
***** MediaBox = ll:0,0 ur:612,792
***** CropBox = ll:0,0 ur:612,792
***** Rotate = 0
