** Description changed: Performed the default installation using Ubuntu 12.04 Live CD When I rebooted the computer, I couldn't see the grub menu. I see a "Input Mode Not Supported" message due to high resolution that my monitor can't display. Hardware specs of my computer: 18 inch Acer LED Monitor AMD 7750 Dual Core Processor 2 GB DDR2 RAM 500 GB Samsung Hard disk - On board Nvidia 6600 + On board Nvidia 6150SE The same error was observed on Xubuntu default install as well. Had to use grub-customizer to rectify grub settings as a temporary fix. I decreased the resolution to 800x600.
