piovisqui, the bug link you posted is about a different vendor ID, so it will 
be treated as a different bug until a developer says otherwise. Please answer 
the following questions:
* When did your wlan network card last work? Prior kernel? Prior version of 
Ubuntu?
* What is the make and model of the access point you are connecting to?
* If you change the settings of the WiFi access point (encryption type, mac 
address filtering, A to G or N to G, etc.) does it change anything?
* What happens when you change the access point?
* If you use wpa supplicant, does anything change?
