NO! this Bug is not fixed upstream. see in the screenshot the panic/oops ? with mainline-kernel 3.4
- it would be interesting if this bug affects more platforms as my dell. But I don have other laptops. - But here is my way to get affected by this Bug: working some minutes without pluggedin AC on a laptop. then switch to Suspend-To-Ram, after some hours!! (not minutes!!) then resume, login and then plugin-ac... - Problem is that I cannot reproduce this bug if I Suspend-To-Ram and after only some minutes (10-20min are not enough) and then resume,login/plugin-AC!! This Bug only appears if the time after Suspend-To-Ram is more than 2hours. This is only my opinion, but not sure at the moment :-( sorry ** Attachment added: "IMG_8077.jpg" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/999653/+attachment/3165713/+files/IMG_8077.jpg ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/999653 Title: After some rounds on the working on the laptop (battery), linux crashed with kernel-panic when I plugin AC To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/999653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
