Same problem, unable to execute a cron script who throttle the speed of
the cpu's.

This script was working perfectly on Ubuntu 11.10. with this entry in
/etc/sudoers :

pascal vortex = NOPASSWD: /usr/bin/cpufreq-set

Now it ask for a password.

For test purpose I have done a fresh install of a Debian 6 and it works
without asking for the password with the same line in /etc/sudoers.

What happens in Ubuntu 12.04 ?
