This may be a PLL drift issue on BeagleBoard-xM as mentioned here http://osdir.com/ml/beagleboard/2012-02/msg01309.html Please try the uImage and module at the following link and let us know the result: http://dominion.thruhere.net/koen/angstrom/beagleboard/usbfix/ Sadly, the usbfix kernel still had this problem. I am working on a official Ubuntu distribution to get diagnostic information from it.
