Can you run the following command in a terminal window:

cp /etc/cups/ppd/dbwcrrr.ppd ~

Then edit dbwcrrr.ppd in your home directory, replacing

*cupsFilter: "application/vnd.cups-postscript 0
/usr/Brother/Printer/hl4070cdw/cupswrapper/brlpdwrapper_hl4070cdw"

by

*cupsFilter: "application/vnd.cups-postscript 0 -"

After that run the following commands:

cupsctl FileDevice=yes
lpadmin -p test -E -v file:/tmp/printout -P ~/dbwcrrr.ppd

Now do tests of comment #1 again but with the print queue "test". After
each test copy the file /tmp/printout and attch the four /tmp/printout
files to this bug report. The files should be PostScript files, so you
can have a look into them with evince, gv, or gs.

Also attach your PPD file, /etc/cups/ppd/dbwcrrr.ppd.
