Public bug reported:
I installed bandwidthd via USC. It would not run in a terminal.
Next, I uninstalled it.
Then I used the SourceForge "deb" file and installed it.
This failed.
I started up USC to see what it would show for "bandwidthd." It only offered a
"reinstall." Which I did.
This, too, failed.
The only USC choice it offered was "reinstall." This would not change no matter
whether I picked "reinstall" or not.
Went to the SourceForge "deb" file's directory.
Ran both "remove" and "purge" using sudo dpgk. Also tried to "reinstall."
Nothing works.
bandwidthd is partially installed, damaged and unresponsive to removing.
How to fix??
Thanks,
Ken Wagner
