Looks like you may have a problem with file permissions which is
breaking the upgrade:
Warning: World-writable config file '/etc/mysql/my.cnf' is ignored
Please could you fix the permissions on /etc/mysql/my.cnf and then try
to complete the upgrade by running:
sudo apt-get -f install
Marking 'Incomplete'. If this does not resolve your issue please
provide the log files from /var/log/mysql and set the status back to
'New'. If it does resolve your problem please set to 'Invalid'
