use 6stack or 6stack-dig if you want vmaster include headphone

In /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

options snd-hda-intel model=6stack-dig

The auto model allow you to play stereo to front panel headphone while
playing 7.1 to rear panel jacks so the vmaster does not control the
