If I boot the usb stick I modified by hand it has the mainline kernel
installed, it has /boot/grub/grub.cfg with entries rerferring to the
mainline kernel. But when I boot it, I do not see them as options to
boot from in legacy mode (when I get the blue grub screen) or when I try
to boot in UEFI mode (I get basic grub screen with only 2 options).
