I can also confirm that the kernel -27 #43 from precise-proposed didn't fix the problem.
The test case doesn't trigger the freeze with this kernel. I was using virtualbox when it freezed. @ Leslie #83 But the bug is opened for ivy bridge systems and it is still there. (unless you want to change the bug report to specifically this testcase, which I think it would be wrong because you would loose momentum in people submitting reports). And after all how many tests did you do with the script before the -27 kernel?
