apport information

** Description changed:

My display is a Sony trinitron Multiscan 200sx. 17 inches display-diagonal.
I upgraded from Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04 a while ago. 11.10 called my screen a
Sony 17 inch and allowed me to choose a high resolution. Grub had no problem
with my screen.12.04 call my screen a sony 16 inch and only allows me to have a
resolution of 1280x1024. Grub cannot detect my screen at all. When i use grub,
i am blind. I use the same screen for Microsoft xp and it works fine, so there
is nothing wrong with my screen. So when will you make my screen work in 12.04
as well as it did in 11.10? This is really a bug-reprt, but i couldn't start
the bugreporting application.
