Thanks for the analysis of the log, I'll take a look at adding that Breaks.
I was using an up to date precise build, built 5 minutes before the test, so nothing in the archive should have been more recent that what was on the media, therefore the list I attached should still match what's missing from the media to make a clean successful upgrade.
