Yes, after "sudo modprobe snd_seq" zynaddsubfx seems to work okay.  I
did not use it extensively, but it opened okay and I played around with
it a little bit, and it definitely did not lock up my system as before.

I noticed that no /dev/seq device node was created by the snd_seq
module.  A /dev/sequencer and a /dev/sequencer2 were, however, as well
as a /dev/snd/seq.
