hi it auto-installed the first time to 1280 screen rez the second time
and still now it is 1024 ..I will check out your suggestion ..later today..I
am currently on the windows side of the pc and in my Adobe RAW
programs....by the way I do like UBUNTU / OPEN-SOURCE`s UFO-RAW and being
able to make portable pixel map images to huge proportions..!

thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Did you execute »sudo
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg« in order to choose the right resolution
for your desktop? I suspect this not to be a bug but a configuration
problem. Maybe you can attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/xorg.0.log
so we can see if this is a problem related to configuration.
