Sorry for the late response. I did some testing using Precise and the new linux-firmware package on two laptops with Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250 cards, the wireless works good: I tried to switch the connection to different APs and was continuously using system with wireless connection for couple of hours. So far I didn't find any issues.
