Good morning Joseph,

at last I'm at home again.:-)

Now, I want to try the latest kernel you indicated but I want to ask
some questions before I make something wrong:

- can I install it with my version 10.04 (ubuntu)? Or must it be with
the new version 12.04.1? If it is with the new version, we'll have to
wait because I've uninstalled it. I'm working with the great version (to
me) 10.04. Then, I'll have to install it. Or, if you want, I can make
another partition e install the 12.04.1. Of course it would be a
repetition of the 10.04, with an upgrade via upgrade manager because I
can't install the 12.04 by itself (from the start, a clean and fresh
install).

- with the install, probably I'll need some help because I don“t do
those kind of install (kernel) daily. I already know what packages are
needed but before Imake some irreparable mistake, I want to ask. It's
the best policy.

Best regards
