Hi all,

Thanks for your support! I'm still facing the same issues. If I try to
boot Ubuntu in normal mode, it will stall in a black screen. If I use
recovery mode, it logs in, and generates bugs that I've been reporting.

let me know if you want me to run the apport tool again to get
additional files with kernel 2.6.

(Sorry for my very low level of technical knowledge - I'll follow your
instructions as close as possible, but won't be able to explain in
accurate terms what's happening in my laptop)
