I appreciate the help. My machine does not have Windows installed, and the Dell website seems to be designed with no consideration of Linux users. I haven't been able to figure out how to upgrade to A09. I'll work on that when I get more time.
I've been able to boot up 3.2.0-30-generic several times, but it eventually freezes up. Version 3.2.0-29-generic is the version I'm currently running. I used it several hours yesterday with no problems. I'll tick off your list as time allows. Thanks again. On Thu, Oct 18, 2012 at 4:36 PM, Christopher M.
