Public bug reported: Since Ubuntu 12.04 and now with a clean install of 12.10 most of the time the sound mutes and unmutes about every 2 seconds. This doesn't happen with the volume icon on the screen but with the icon button on the laptop itself.
If I manually mute the sound it stops until I unmute the sound manually again. Looks like some powersaving feature which is not working well? I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 32bit on a HP 6710b laptop. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "lspci-vnvn.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1071028/+attachment/3412338/+files/lspci-vnvn.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1071028 Title: sound mutes and unmutes constantly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1071028/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
