I found this page after getting fed up with this and doing some Google
searches on the issue. I have a ThinkPad T43 and a Toshiba netbook
(NB205-N310/BN), and neither save the Bluetooth setting on 12.04 or
12.10. I can turn it off a dozen times and it always turns back on the
next time I reboot. I don't use Bluetooth and don't like it coming on
all the time.

I'll try one of the startup script options.
