Firefox nor any otehr ubuntu official package caused this crash. Please report bug to google as thier product is causing the crash they support thier own products. Ubuntu cant support every application someone makes, When it is included in Ubuntu if ever than we can support it. A plugin/extension written poorly from a 3rd party person we can not help you we would be supporting anything and everything.
