That is really strange. I did not think Windows could handle non 512 byte sector devices. There does not appear to be any known field in the pdc header that specifies the sector size. It could be that it just uses 2k for anything over 2TB. Actually, I wonder if it uses whatever sector size would be required for MBR to address the whole thing? So maybe it goes to 1k for 2-4 TB, then 2k for 4-8 TB?
