Plus one. I've had this on both 2530p and 6930p HP Elitebooks, on various kernel / Ubuntu versions for the last year or so. No big surprise, they're both the same chipset. In fact you can fix the problem just by commenting out the "Wireless" case in the main pci_devices script in /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/pci_devices. I didn't spend much more time on this other than to verify that this is a reliable fix for a rather irritating little problem.
