Agree. Any sort of 'peek' feature would be good for now. Right now I have a Nautilus file transfer going on in the background and I can see the status of it's progress by looking at the Home folder icon in the Launcher (or whatever the sidebar is called). But I also have a Nautilus folder open.
I've come to my web browser, and I want to see my Nautilus file browser. I click on the Home icon, but the file transfer progress status comes up instead. I now have to click on the Home folder again, and I now see an animation showing me both Nautilus windows to choose from. It's a waste of clicks. It would be better to be allowed to hover over the Home folder, it then expands or shows a list of windows currently open under that program (Nautilus) so I can choose which one I want to bring to the foreground. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/684693 Title: Aero peek like functionality for the launcher To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/684693/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
