"Adds a new field that is required for MAAS, in order to be able to
store IPv4 and IPv6." is not an SRU worthy fix. The fact that someone at
Canonical wants it done doesn't change that. Please do not move this
from invalid again without discussion.
python-django is widely used for more than MAAS. "Works with MAAS" is
nowhere near sufficient validation that messing with a feature backport
post-release is safe for Ubuntu users.
