I'm happy to hear this is fixed already in a later release. Precise welcomes me with about 30.000 dead symlinks under /usr which I certainly believe is an issue. For example, it breaks a recursive grep because you will get swamped with messages about non-existent files which crowd out the feedback of what you were looking for.
I don't think this needs an SRU for python-numpy in precise, though. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1089582 Title: python-numpy installs 6 broken symlinks under /usr in precise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-numpy/+bug/1089582/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
