It isn't packaging problem at all
On archlinux we need to do this https://gist.github.com/4293794 and remove 
bindings/python to successfully compile this as lib32-libappindicator

1. Making lib32-python as dependency is the worst design idea ever
2. There is no easy way to disable mono/python stuff like just simple 
--disable-python-bindings (AFAIK)… another design failure -.-
