Oddly enough, after installing those other kernels, the behavior exhibited by 3.7.05 as originally reported is now occurring with rc2. I think there may be something wrong with my installation as my results are inconsistent. Input devices, however, only work with rc2. They are broken with anything after that. I am very confused right now... I think I might reinstall 12.10, upgrade to 13.04, install all updates, and then see if the bugs are still present. I'll probably do that tomorrow when I have some free time. I have to get work done tonight.
