The behaviour was once again an unstable system after resume. The first
attempt simple resulted in a system that had hung and required a hard
power reset. The subsequent attempts seemed to resume, but where varing
issues. In one case it seems like the window manager crashed, and only
the windows remained. In both cases there seemed to be issues with
persmissions after the resume. I was not able to 'su' to root, could not
run 'sudo' and the syslogs where not recorded.
