For now leave it that way, but I would like to know some things: Just to be sure, after you click the window close button(x) at rythmbox, check if rythmbox is still running at the audio menu show here: http://ubuntuguide.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/rhythmbox.png , also check if an audio don't stop playing after the X button is pressed, if any of the two conditions are met, it is because the window was just hidden by clicking X. If both don't happen, it is because the previous rythmbox behavior was changed to act the way the users would expect.
