Please note that bug reports are not a good forum for support; bug reports should contain a single issue. This feels like two separate issues are being reported: (1) Ubuntu One has scrambled some files (2) Wine cannot reliably run a Windows program that you have written.
If this is two reports, please edit the bug description here to address one bug, and file a new bug report for the second bug. Please give whatever details you can (which Ubuntu One client you used, which operating system you used, if you can reproduce the problem reliably with certain types of files or access patterns, etc.) If you can reproduce your Wine problem with a small self-contained clipper program, please attach sources and instructions on how to compile and reproduce the problem. Since neither one of these issues shows signs of allowing an attacker to cross privilege boundaries, I'm removing the security team. Thanks for your help improving Ubuntu. ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1103695 Title: scrambled data on ubuntu one To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1103695/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
